Gina's Challenge #5

This is my submission for the ADSR2 Week 3, Challenge 1.
For this layout I used template 12 by Pippi
Express Yourself Wordart by Ronna Penner
Papers from SDK's Summer Brights kit
Journaling Font is Learning Curve
Journaling paper from Amanda Thorderson's America The Beautiful kit

journaling reads:
My mother gave me a great deal of advice while I was growing up. But there was one that I remember most. One that I tell my children all the time. We all need to remember to treat others as we want to be treated. But, this advice is twofold really. We also need to learn to ignore others who talk about us behind our backs. They are just trying to get a rise out of us. If you ignore them they will go away. This is a very hard lesson for a child to learn. Especially hen they want to fit in., to be liked, to be in the "in crowd". This is a lesson that I am trying to teach my boys. I hope that it is one that they will learn early on; I do not want them to suffer at school or outside when they are playing. Bigger kids can be mean. Unfortunately not everyone thinks as I do. The older children in our neighborhood can be downright mean. Trying to convince them to treat the other kids how they would like to be treated goes in one ear and out the other. Alas, it should be expected. I just hope that my boys listen to me when i tell them to treat others as they want to be treated and ignore the comments that others make to them. We love them and that is all that matters.

Second what Humie said! I love the colors, the stamp with the saying on it, and the journaling is just wonderful! I too struggled with that when my daughter was growing up.
